Nelda Bullis, RN, LMT

 

Nelda attained 550 hours of massage therapy training at Lauderstein  Conway Massage School in  Austin, Texas.  Licensed since January 2008.  Nelda specializes in deep massage, a form of myofascial release, along with trigger point therapy which achieves both relaxtion and therapeutic results for a variety of conditions.  Prior to her eager interest in bodywork and massage, Nelda worked as a registered nurse in the operating room and other settings.  Nelda holds a BSN from UT Austin. 

 

Ashlie Von Stroh, M.T,  Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor

Ashlie Von Stroh has been a massage therapist since 1998 and a Pilate's Instructor since 2003.  Ashlie completed 500 hours of massage therapy study with a focus on "SMRT-Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique".  This is a unique process that is gentle yet extremely effective.  Ahslie's massage technique waits for the body to release and then moves the muscles back into place creating muscle memory.  Over time that can relieve pain or prevent reoccurrences.  She also has experience with MFR-Myofacila Release, Cranial Sacral, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Opening Fascia, Reiki, Equine and much more. By gaining an understanding of the body's core and how it works Ashlie can help you incorporate that into every day life.  Ashlie's training in Pilates can also help in reeducating the body, by gaining an understanding of the body's core and how it work and interrelates to other areas of the body.    

PILATES & REFORMER

Ashlie's training in Pilates was from the West Coas with a Physical Therapist and taught from a rehabilitation point of view.  In both the mat and reformer classes she will teach you the fundamentals.  This is for all levels of fitness and abilities.  The reformer adds more challenging strength and endurance to the workout.  You will see improvement in your flexibility, mobility, posture, strength , and endurance.

Mike McLaughlin, Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement  

Mike is a certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has close to 10 years of experience working with clients ranging from the deconditioned to the professional athlete. He specializes with performance enhancement, corrective exercise, injury rehabilitation, weight loss, muscle hypertrophy, muscular endurance, sport specific training, core stabilization, strength training and cardiovascular conditioning/agility training. He believes that Health and Fitness is a lifestyle that anyone can adopt through PROPER instruction and progression.
